Analysis of general lathe spindle support knowledge
1. Bearing combination design The figure shows the bearing structure of a general lathe spindle. The front bearing is fixed end. It is composed of double-row cylindrical roller bearings with tapered holes and two one-way thrust ball bearings. The two one-way thrust ball bearings bear the axial load in two directions respectively, and are preloaded by spring fixed pressure to eliminate the bearing clearance. Double row cylindrical roller bearings bear radial load. Can be moved by tapered hole in the journal to adjust the radial clearance of the bearing, and can achieve radial preload, in order to improve the rigidity of the main system. The double-row cylindrical roller bearing with tapered hole is used for the rear bearing, which can adapt to the thermal expansion and elongation of the shaft by the movement of the inner ring and rollers relative to the outer ring, and can adjust the clearance and carry out preload. In this lathe spindle, the front bearing near the working end is used as the fixed end to bear the axial load in two directions, so the other parts of the shaft are not subjected to the axial load. Both bearings adopt double-row cylindrical roller bearings with tapered holes, which can realize radial preload, so the bearing stiffness of the shaft is relatively large. The clearance of each bearing can be adjusted, so the rotation accuracy of the shaft is relatively high. 2. Fitting and mounting Since the outer ring of cylindrical roller bearing is subject to local load street, the machining accuracy of the housing hole should be taken as K6 level. The thrust bearing is fitted with h5 level accuracy, and the housing hole should be machined to H6 level accuracy with the fit of the thrust bearing. 3. Lubrication and sealing The lathe spindle support adopts circulating oil lubrication, if directly lubricate the bearing with gear lubricant at the same time, filtering device should be set. Sealing of the lathe spindle. Generally use ” W ” gap sealing device. When the speed is high, should not use the contact seal. To avoid the seal generated by the frictional heat diffusion, affecting the machining accuracy of the machine tool.
