Bearing is an important precision part in the operation of the machine. Mastering some simple skills in the process of installation or use can get twice the result with half the effort on the overall production efficiency. The following is a brief introduction of some conventional skills to judge the use of bearings.

1.Observation method

The rolling bearing is observed directly with the eyes. The inner and outer raceway should be a smooth and shiny circular groove, without peeling and any wear.

The surface of all rolling bodies should be smooth, without spots, cracks and peeling peeling phenomena on the surface. The size of the rolling body of the same bearing is consistent and the wear is uniform.

The cage should not be damaged, damaged, loose and loose, and the gap with the rolling body should not be too large.

In the observation, no matter which point is found to be problematic, should not continue to use reluctantly.

2.Handle method

The gap between the inner and outer seat of the new bearing and the rolling body is generally between 0.005 and 0.01mm.

For the rolling bearing that has been used for a period of time, the inner ring can be pinched by fingers to carry out axial shaking. If there is no sound, it can continue to be used; If there is a clear open noise. Note The gap exceeds 0.02mm and should be repaired or replaced

3.The rotation method

With one hand bearing inner ring, the other hand to rotate the outer ring, if the bearing rotation is flexible without stagnation, and radial shaking and feel no clearance, the bearing can continue to use.

If the rotation is not flexible, it may be the inner and outer seat raceway or rolling body peeling or other damage; If the rotation is too loud, the bearing has been seriously worn, should be replaced.

In order to make a correct judgment on rolling bearings, the above three methods should be combined during inspection.

For conical roller bearings, it should also observe whether the moving body falls in the middle of the outer seat ring, and if there is a forward movement, it should not exceed 1.5mm. Otherwise, it should be replaced.

For used rolling bearings, inner and outer raceway bearings, the gap between the inner and outer raceway and the rolling body shall not exceed 0.06mm, exceeding this limit should be replaced.
