As an important part of mechanical equipment, rolling bearings will directly affect the normal operation of mechanical equipment if there is a failure in the use process. Bearing failure is one of the common problems. If the mechanical bearing fails initially, we should judge it to find it as soon as possible, and handle it accordingly as soon as possible to prevent the normal process of mechanical equipment work. Here is to share with you a rolling bearing fault diagnosis method to judge the cause of bearing failure.

 

Simple diagnosis of rolling bearing fault

 

In the process of using simple diagnosis to rolling bearing vibration, the vibration is usually measured value (peak and RMS values, etc.) and given some standard comparison, determine in advance according to the measured vibration value is beyond the limits of the standards to judge whether the bearing failed, to decide whether to need further precision diagnosis. The judgment criteria for simple diagnosis of rolling bearings can be roughly divided into three categories:

(1) Absolute determination standard: is the absolute value used to judge whether the measured vibration value exceeds the limit;

(2) Relative judgment standard: vibration detection is carried out on the same part of the bearing on a regular basis, and compared according to the time sequence. The vibration value of the bearing without fault is taken as the standard, and the ratio of the measured vibration value to the benchmark vibration value is used for diagnosis.

(3) Analogical judgment standard: it is the standard for vibration detection of several bearings of the same type in the same part under the same conditions, and comparing the vibration values to judge each other.

 

The absolute determination standard is established on the basis of the specified detection method, so we must pay attention to its applicable frequency range and carry out vibration detection according to the specified method. There is no absolute determination standard applicable to all bearings, so the absolute determination standard, relative determination standard and analog determination standard are generally used, so as to obtain accurate and reliable diagnosis results.
