1. Rolling sound of bearings

The sound detector is used to check the size and sound quality of the rolling sound of the bearing in operation. Even if the bearing has slight damage such as peeling, it will emit abnormal and irregular sounds, which can be distinguished by the sound detector.

2. Vibration of bearings

Bearing vibration is very sensitive to bearing damage, such as peeling, indentation, rust, crack, wear and so on will be reflected in the bearing vibration measurement, so, by using a special bearing vibration measuring device (frequency analyzer, etc.) can measure the size of the vibration, through the frequency points can not infer the specific situation of the abnormal. The measured values are different due to the use conditions of bearings or sensor installation positions, so it is necessary to analyze and compare the measured values of each machine in advance to determine the judgment criteria.

3. Temperature of bearings

Bearing temperature, generally bearing temperature outside the surface can be inferred, if the use of oil hole can directly measure bearing outer ring temperature, it is more appropriate. Usually, the temperature of the bearing begins to rise slowly with the operation and reaches a stable state 1-2 hours later. The normal temperature of bearings varies with the heat capacity, heat loss, speed and load of the machine. If the lubrication and installation part are appropriate, the bearing temperature will rise sharply and abnormal high temperature will occur. At this time, the operation must be stopped and necessary preventive measures must be taken. Based on a large number of test data, table 4-1 lists the average outer ring temperature of bearings in various machines for reference. As the temperature is affected by lubrication, speed, load, and environment, the median value in the table only represents a rough temperature range.
